Lift Center Racing (especially Justin Lowe), Nashville Local Cycling (especially Michael Edens), and the city of Dover, worked together to quickly and successfully organize a great State Championship Time Trial this year.
The start line was in front of the Stewart County Courthouse on Hwy 79 and was an out-and-back course along Hwy 79. The course was fairly flat and fast with a gradual climb to the 40k turnaround then fast down and flat all the way to the finish. However, the trip back turned out to be a little harder than most racers were expecting due to a headwind.
Lift Center Racing represented well, as you can see from the multiple podium pics! Here they are, in order of appearance.
Jake Pingen – 1st (18:02)
Zach Lowe – 2nd (18:46)
Luke Piercey – unfortunately got mixed up at the turnaround and turned around too quickly but completed the first part of the course very quickly
